The Great Music Experience, a three night concert of international musicians held in Nara, Japan at the eighth century Buddhist temple of Todai-ji on May 20 -22, 1994.  The concert took place in front of the world’s largest wooden building which houses the world's largest Buddha statue.

The Tokyo New Philharmonic Orchestra was conducted by Michael Kamen. Dylan joined in the grand finale with all participating artists which included Joni Mitchell, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Ry Cooder, Roger Taylor and the members of INXS and X Japan.
